One-of-a-kind, wheel-thrown vase with added handles that scale the length of the vase roughly 9.75” tall by 5.5” wide at the widest point finished in a white salt glaze. This piece is a part of a small collection of wood-fired pieces. Each piece was fired over a 3-day period in a wood-kiln tucked away in Ligonier, PA. It was a rare firing that I was very lucky to participate in. The variation and color on the surfaces were created using flame and ash from the kiln. Each is like its own little planet, completely one of a kind, and uniquely individual.
